Management Team

Barry C. Nelsen - Founder

Mr. Nelsen has been influential in the sales and markering of information products and services since 1970. A leader in design and sales of information products used by the U.S. Military, building systems for the DoD which replaced paper systems for much of the military's technical data systems used in the procurement process. Mr. Nelsen also built industry systems such as Haystack, FEDLOGS (for Department of Defense), as well as the ILI logistics system. Barry has been as innovator in developing scanning systems used to convert paper databases to digital form. He was the agent for Beyond.com, selling the first enterprise-wide EC downloaded software to the DoD, consisting of all Microsoft products used by DoD procurement.

John B. Ford - Chief Information Officer - Founder

Mr. Ford brings more than 25 years of management and information technology experience with the last 13 years focused primarily on the U.S. Department of Defense and the Aerospace Industry. He began his career with AT&T in the government communications group with the White House and DoD Command and Controls communications. In the information technologies arena John was the project manager for Intessera Technologies Group's SpecFinder which ws the original electronic commerce site for Government technical data packages. SpecFinder was eventually purchased by AT&T. Prior to joining PECS, John had been with the USA Information Systems and Information Handling Services in various marketing, customer service, and content management capacities.
